Learning and improving your English language skills are important to your success. If you need to improve your English or start as a beginner, English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes are offered throughout our region.
Advanced English SKills
We have a FREE English program to immigrants with intermediate to advanced English skills. We'll help you improve your English so you can better communicate in real-life situations - especially in the workplace!
Pronunciation Skills Workshop (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 - 8:00pm)
Improve your English pronunciation, improve your life! Whether you're at the supermarket, at the bank, or at work, clear speech will help you get your message across.
Writing Skills Workshop (Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 - 8:00pm)
Appreciate applied grammar! Learn the guidelines on writing complete sentences, coherent paragraphs, effective memors, professional emails, polite business letters, plus other writing tips very useful in the workplace.
English Coaching Program (Monday to Thursday, 9:00 - 5:00pm)
If you want to improve your English skills but don't have the time to come to the evening classes, set an appointment with our English coach. You will get short lessons and personalized homework on pronunciation, writing, and other language needs. It's like a "doctor's clinic", but for English!

South Eastman English and Literary Services (SEELS) is the major provider of language training in the area. You may contact the SEELS office at 346-4225 or seels@mts.net.
English classes at SEELS are free of charge to individuals with permanent residency or citizen status in Canada. Individuals with work permits may also register for a very minimal cost. Free childcare is available as well.
