Getting Involved

Southeastern Manitoba is known for its friendly residents. The welcoming spirit of people in the community is especially appreciated by newcomers and immigrants to the region.

EIS offers numerous volunteer opportunities to those who are interested in extending a hand toward the community. Below are some of the ways you can get involved.
  • Assist in events preparation
  • Become a language parter
  • Volunteer in the Settlement Partner Program
  • Attend and participate in one of the community forums
  • Attend a quiz night or other social events to help the newcomers feel more connected to their new community
