Moving to a new country can be a very exciting but also a very difficult thing to do. Eastman Immigrant Services holds various events and activities to help you make new friends and start to make this community feel like your home. Click here to see all the current events.

Upcoming Events

  • Pub Quiz- monthly event at Frantz Motor Inn 

  • Get Active  - a free fitness program for women and teens. Wednesdays from 7:15 - 8:15pm starting Feb 1st at the Woodlawn School Gym.

  • Income Tax - learn about what is involved in filing income tax in Canada. Feb 21st from 6:30 - 8:30pm at EIS, 284 Reimer Ave. Steinbach

  • Employment Fair - an opportunity to talk to many employers - all under one roof. Feb 28th from 5 - 8pm at the 55 Plus Center, Steinbach.

  •   Parenting Group for Women in Southoaks School, Grunthal (Low German)  Feb 9, 23, March 8, 22@ 6:30pm

  • Men's Family Group for Men in Southoaks School, Grunthal (Low German)  Feb 9, 23, March 8, 22 @ 6:30pm
